Paratime Investigations is a paranormal investigation group based in Southern New Brunswick, founded in 2017 by Doug and Nick Curtis. The team is passionate about historic preservation and has conducted over 200 investigations, which include sites such as museums, churches, jails, old foundations, fields, graveyards, haunted objects, and residential houses. Our Approach: At Paratime Investigations, we are committed to uncovering the truth about the areas we explore. We trust in failsafe equipment testing and thorough background research before drawing any conclusions—because not everything is haunted.
Meet the Team
Doug Curtis
Doug has been featured in several newspaper articles discussing his unique approach to fundraising for historical sites, and he has participated in numerous interviews on CBC's morning radio. One of his most notable experiences was a solo 48-hour lockdown in solitary confinement at the Charlotte County Jail in Saint Andrews, where he raised money for the Brain Tumor Foundation. Doug is also deeply committed to mental health awareness, and all funds raised through Paratime Investigations are donated to both causes.
Nick Curtis
Nick has been integral to many investigations, with a focus on audio/visual analysis and evidence organization. He is also responsible for the group’s promotional content, including T-shirt designs, posters, and social media management. His dedication to research recently led to the discovery of a previously unknown axe murder in Milltown, NB—an event that had been forgotten by both locals and archives alike. Nick continues to network with various organizations to create new and exciting experiences for the group.
